Therapist - Occupational Therapist (Float Position)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a float therapist with our partner facility in Elizabethtown. As a float therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings, providing occupational therapy services to diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients to identify their strengths, needs, and goals • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities • Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including activities such as range of motion exercises, transfers, and adaptive equipment training • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans and progress • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of [insert state] • 1-2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a float or travel setting • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
