Registered Nurse - Operating Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our OR team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting surgical teams, and contributing to the overall success of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative recovery • Scrub and circulate in general OR cases, including plastics, colorectal, urology, MIS, pancreatic/biliary, and surgical oncology procedures • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes • Utilize our state-of-the-art robotic systems to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes • Maintain accurate and timely charting in our electronic health record system • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, including infection control and patient safety protocols

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting • Current SC or Multi-state RN license • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association • Radiation badge required; will be provided by the agency • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Additional Information:

• The local radius rule is 60 miles from the facility. • Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at a 10% discount on the posted bill rate. • RTOs must be submitted at the time of assignment. • The facility has a policy of allowing one shift off per two weeks (pay period), which can be broken down to add up to one shift. • Parking is available in the 91 Presidents Street parking garage, with a $20 registration fee for a hang tag.

• During hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. • Travelers should not confirm new or extended assignments during hurricane season.
