We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the Emergency Department. You will work collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to deliver exceptional care and achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and develop a plan of care tailored to their individual needs • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and well-being • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes • Utilize the nursing process to direct and deliver patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care • Demonstrate competency in emergency procedures, such as CPR and defibrillation • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.S.N.), Associate degree (A.D.N.), or Diploma from an accredited college of nursing • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (for RNs assigned to the Emergency Department)
