Unit Information:

• 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:5
• Unit staff includes US, PCT, LPN, RN, CNC, and Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation to join our team. As a Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation process, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients' medical, physical, and psychological needs • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication management and IV therapy • Administer medications, including IV medications and blood infusions • Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures as needed • Collaborate with occupational, physical, and speech therapists to develop and implement rehabilitation plans • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans • Utilize critical thinking and assessment skills to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions • Prioritize patient safety and utilize safe patient handling techniques when transferring patients

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee • Med-Surg experience and assessment skills • Critical thinking and IV skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • CRRN certification preferred
