Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with 2+ years of experience in a Level III NICU to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal care, excellent assessment and critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to neonates, assessing, diagnosing, and establishing plans with outcome criteria, intervening, evaluating, and charting. • Assist with various procedures, including intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, and admissions. • Utilize equipment such as conventional ventilators, high frequency ventilators, nitric oxide, cool cap, MedFusion pumps, Smart pumps, Spacelab monitors, and Epic charting. • Perform neonatal assessments, care for IV's, umbilical lines, CPAP, nasal cannula, oral and IV medications, OG and NG feedings, and G-tubes.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in a Level III NICU • Active ND and Compact RN License (willing to obtain) • Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association • NRP certification • Ability and willingness to float to PICU and PEDS • Experience with EPIC - highly preferred • Level III NICU experience
