We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehab Unit on the 6th Floor at Trident Medical Center. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote patient mobility, strength, and function • Utilize advanced equipment, including the BITTS system, to enhance patient outcomes • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, to ensure comprehensive care • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

• Current licensure in the state of South Carolina • Advanced skills in rehabilitation techniques and modalities • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular conditions • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Trident Medical Center is a 313-bed HCA Healthcare facility in Charleston, South Carolina. Work Environment:

Our Inpatient Rehab Unit is a 14-bed facility with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1 and a therapist-to-patient ratio of 7:1. We are committed to providing high-quality, individualized care to our patients, and we are seeking a therapist who shares our passion for rehabilitation. Our unit features an ADL suite, car simulator, Biodex, BITTS, Lite Gait, SCI FIT, and Nustep equipment, and we use a Meditech documentation system.
