We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Tele team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading by example, and supporting the growth and development of our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced Medical Surgical/Tele unit • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information and communicate with healthcare professionals • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration records and progress notes
Requirements:
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience • At least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience • Current Ohio License (or Compact State License) in hand • Current AHA BLS certification • Current ACLS certification • Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation • Proficient in using Qualivis - Lotus for submitting hours worked
