We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy sessions with clients to assess and improve their daily living skills, mobility, and overall well-being • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our team of therapists and healthcare professionals • Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to understand their needs and preferences • Provide education and training on adaptive equipment, techniques, and strategies to promote independence and confidence • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Current state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • 0-2 years of experience in occupational therapy assisting, with a focus on SNF experience preferred • Valid COVID-19 test results with a negative result 72 hours prior to start date • Ability to pass required background checks and screenings

Certifications and Training:

• 8 hours of dementia training
