Physical Therapist Job Opportunity

Location: Newton, MA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work 2 evenings/week until 7:30pm, and 4 10-hour shifts per week

Duration: 13-26 weeks

Guarantee: 40 hours/week

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Bay State Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a variety of patients experiencing orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, spine disorders, arthritis, TMJ dysfunction, concussions, myofascial pain, trigger point disorders, balance disorders, and chronic pain.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to promote patient recovery and wellness
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

• At least 3 months of outpatient physical therapy experience or 1 year of experience in other settings
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pre-Assignment Requirements: All new travelers must complete three HealthStream Modules prior to assignment. The agency will reimburse a $180 lump sum upon proof of completion and at least 1 shift worked.
