Required Qualifications:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligibility for certification • Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices • Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' abilities and needs to develop personalized treatment plans • Implement occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and participation • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care • Conduct home visits and provide education to patients and families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy
