Physical Therapist - LTC/Nursing Homes

Location: Fort Myers, Florida

Schedule: Days, 4 days per week

Hours: 8 hours per shift, 32 hours per week

Assignment: 13 weeks

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a Long-Term Care/Nursing Homes setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve optimal mobility and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with various physical impairments and disabilities • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs • Conduct exercises, stretches, and modalities to promote healing and mobility • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care • Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques and home safety measures

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) • Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
