Physical Therapy Assistant - Therapist Location: Gambrills, MD Schedule: Full-time, Day shifts We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our team of physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care and assist with the development and implementation of treatment plans. Key Responsibilities: • Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, treatments, and evaluations • Conduct patient interviews and obtain medical histories • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with physical therapist direction • Assist with patient education and communication • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Requirements: • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or equivalent • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of employment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Basic life support certification (BLS) and CPR certification If you are a motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for healthcare, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
