Surgical Technologist Corvallis, OR Rotating Shifts We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room of Surgery. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgery • Maintain asepsis and sterility in the operating room environment • Assist with patient positioning, draping, and anesthesia management • Follow established protocols and guidelines for surgical procedures • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care • Maintain accurate records and reports of surgical procedures Requirements: • 1 year of scrubbing experience in CVOR/Open Heart procedures • Current certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon • Option 1: Successful completion of a training program in surgical technology • Option 2: Graduation from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited surgical technology program • Option 3: 2+ years of surgical technology experience between 2014-2017 • 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years in medical-surgical practice • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Experience with computer applications preferred
