**Registered Nurse - Operating Room** **Location:** Atlanta, GA **Schedule:** Days **Job Type:** Full-time **About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at a leading healthcare facility. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures, working collaboratively with the surgical team, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative recovery • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement patient care plans • Ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures • Conduct pre-operative assessments, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed • Develop and implement post-operative care plans, including pain management and wound care • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and surgical reports • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in operating room nursing **Requirements:** • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia • Prior travel experience in a large-level 1 trauma facility • Strong vascular/endovascular experience required • High ratings on all areas of skills checklist • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
