**Registered Nurse - ICU** **Location:** Columbus, OH **Schedule:** Nights, 3x12's, every other weekend **Job Type:** Full-time **About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes. **Responsibilities:** * Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various procedures * Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information and collaborate with healthcare team members * Participate in code blue situations, respond to alarms, and implement emergency protocols as needed * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans * Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices in ICU care **Requirements:** * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Medical ICU * Current certification in BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and AHA * Proficient in IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management * Experience with EPIC documentation system preferred **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous travel nursing experience * Proficiency in EPIC documentation system * Specialized experience in: + Multisystem Organ Failure + Respiratory Failure + COVID + Sepsis + Post-Cardiac Arrest + Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) + Liver Failure + Renal Failure * Knowledge of: + NxStage CRRT + Alaris IV Pump + GE Cardiac Monitor + GE Ventilator + Boom Lift in each patient room **What We Offer:** * Competitive compensation package * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and supportive work environment If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
