**Registered Nurse - Emergency Room** **Location:** Columbus, OH **Schedule:** Days **Job Type:** Traveling Registered Nurse **Required Qualifications:** • 2 years of Emergency Room experience • 2 years of experience in Oncology ICC (Intensive Care Cancer) • Proficiency in EPIC system **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population in a unique ICC unit • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Float between ICC and ED units as needed to support patient needs • Participate in patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EPIC system **Certifications:** • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) **Unit Details:** • ICC (Intensive Care Cancer) unit provides care to patients with urgent and non-urgent conditions • Patients present with a variety of diagnoses, including sickle cell crisis, fever, abdominal pain, uncontrolled pain, anemia, nausea, vomiting, and dehydration • ICC sets appointments for patients based on calls received from primary teams or oncologists • Smaller unit fosters strong relationships among staff members and a supportive work environment **Travel Opportunities:** • Float between ICC and ED units as needed to support patient needs • Develop skills and relationships with James patients in a less acute setting
