**Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown** **Location:** Nashville, TN **Schedule:** Nights **Job Type:** Travel **About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Observation Unit at a leading healthcare facility. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the unit's fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide direct patient care, including triaging acute care patients and identifying life-threatening rhythms • Perform advanced skills, such as glucose monitoring, Foley insertion, dressing changes, EKG’s, and peritoneal dialysis • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Utilize electronic documentation system, Meditech, to record patient information and progress • Participate in a rotating floating policy to meet the needs of the hospital **Requirements:** • Advanced skills in neuro and cardiac care • Current certifications in ACLS, NIH, and EKG rhythm certification • 2 years of experience in a similar setting • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a friendly and energetic team **What We Offer:** • Opportunity to work in a newly built unit with brand new equipment and technology • Competitive pay rate • Professional development and growth opportunities • Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Unit Culture:** Our Observation Unit is known for its positive and supportive team environment.
