MRI Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 9pm (flexible hours, with possibility of 10-hour shifts)
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at a leading healthcare facility. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and providing necessary instructions
• Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
• Monitor and control MRI equipment during procedures
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Level 1 trauma experience
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI
• Strong knowledge of MRI principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
