**Registered Nurse - Telemetry** **Location:** Temple, TX **Schedule:** Full Time - Days and Nights available (36 hours per week) **Job Type:** Full-time **Unit Summary:** Our Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit (STC-5) is a 36-bed unit that provides care to a wide variety of patients, including adults and geriatrics. We offer a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a wide range of medical diagnoses, including those from the ICU and MICU. Our patients require various levels of care, including medication regimens, respiratory support, wound and skin care, nutritional support, and diagnostic procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical conditions * Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans * Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians * Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team * Participate in diagnostic procedures, such as thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and central line placement * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care * Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques **Requirements:** * Graduate of an accredited RN program * Active RN license * Minimum of 6 months of RN experience * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively **Benefits:** * Competitive benefits package * Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits * 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% * Tuition Reimbursement * PTO accrual beginning Day 1
