Registered Nurse - Operating Room

**Operating Room Registered Nurse** **Location:** Temple, TX **Schedule:** Rotating Shifts We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will play a critical part in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the surgical team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assess patients pre-operatively and post-operatively to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans * Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and safe patient care * Implement and evaluate patient care plans, modifying as needed to meet patient outcomes * Promote safe passage for patients through the healthcare system, minimizing preventable complications and delays * Delegate interventions based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act, patient condition, and employee competencies * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate and improve nursing practice **Requirements:** * Graduate of an accredited RN program * 2 years of OR nurse experience * Current Registered Nurse licensure * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or certification within 30 days of hire or transfer **About Us:** Our organization is committed to providing exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of our employees.
