Here is the formatted job description: Surgical Technician Location: Mauston, WI Schedule: No Shift Job Type: Full-time Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred • 1+ years of related work experience preferred • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Key Responsibilities: • Maintain a clean and sterile surgical environment, providing the surgeon with appropriate instrumentation and equipment, and assisting the surgeon during procedures • Prepare the operating room for surgery • Keep records of use of Steam Sterilizer • Perform initial instrument, sharps, and sponge counts with the circulator • Keep suture carts organized and monitor expiration dates • Turn over rooms between cases • Assist team members with gowning and gloving • Assist with patient positioning pre-operative and transport patients from cart to bed and back • Stock adequate supplies for surgery • Perform other duties as requested We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team.
