Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Location: Seattle, WA Shift: Nights Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor and Delivery environment • Conduct clinical reviews and assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients and newborns • Administer medications and treatments, including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate, as ordered by physicians • Provide newborn care, including eye and vitamin K injections, and thorough assessments • Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports Requirements: • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, with a focus on high-risk and high-volume deliveries • Current certification in NRP and BLS • Current supervisory references • Proof of required certifications, including AWHONN Advanced and ACLS (preferred) • Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and EPIC system • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with frequent patient transfers and emergencies Note: We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
