Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Location: Houston, TX Shift: Nights We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a travel RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. **Unit Information:** * 22 beds * 58 staff members * Day shift staff: 1 CNC, 1 Unit Secretary, 11 Nurses * Night shift staff: 1 CNC, 11 Nurses * Patient ratios: 1:2 * Type of equipment: CRRT, Vents, MTP, Hemospheres, Art line, Impella, IABP, CABG, EVD, TTM * EMR: Meditech **Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients * Administer medications, including pressor medications * Manage art lines and critical drips * Insert and maintain central lines and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) * Participate in code blue and code pink responses * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans * Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care techniques **Requirements:** * Current RN licensure * Critical Care training * ACLS certification * BLS certification * Flexible and adaptable with ability to work in a fast-paced environment **Preferred Qualifications:** * Critical drip management experience * Art line experience * Circulatory device experience * Experience with bronchoscopy and other invasive procedures **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay rate * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and supportive work environment If you are a motivated and compassionate RN looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
