**Registered Nurse - Operating Room** **Location:** Winston-Salem, NC **Shift:** Nights **Job Type:** Traveling Registered Nurse **About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. This is a traveling position that requires flexibility and adaptability. **Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment * Circulate and scrub in various surgical specialties, including neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, and robotics * Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care * Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage patient and team needs * Participate in staff meetings, communication boards, and unit orientation to stay informed and up-to-date on unit operations **Requirements:** * 2 years of recent OR experience (no experience in management roles will be considered) * Must have circulate and scrub experience in neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics * BCLS certification required * Strong experience in at least 2 of the following specialties: neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and situations **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay rate * Comprehensive benefits package * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team * Professional development and growth opportunities **Travel Requirements:** * Travel experience required (previous travel experience is okay if none exists) * Ability to travel to various locations within the assigned contract period **Unit Details:** * The unit is equipped with PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems * Staff meetings and communication boards are used to facilitate effective communication and teamwork * The unit prioritizes neuro spine and ortho spine specialties, with a focus on joint replacement procedures * Other specialties include vascular, robotics, urology, podiatry, oncology, GYN, and miscellaneous procedures **Orientation and Training:** * A minimum of 36 hours of orientation is provided, including three days of training on the unit's systems and procedures * Comprehensive training on Epic system is provided **Scrub and Attire:** * Scrubs are provided, including Ceil Blue attire **Interview Process:** * We require interview availability for the next 72 hours to ensure timely approval of candidates * No offers will be made without speaking to or interviewing the candidate first
