* Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) license by the State of Texas Medical Board (unless the role is MRI and Ultrasound)
* Additional certifications such as ARMRIT, ARRT-BD, ARRT-BS, ARRT-M, ARRT-MR, ARRT-N, ARRT-R, ARRT-S, ARRT-VI, CNMT, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-FE, RDMS-OB, RDMS-PS, and RVT may be required
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner
* Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures
* Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding test procedures and assess patient tolerance
* Prepare patients and areas for procedures by positioning patients, utilizing immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions
* Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques
* Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards
* Report issues to management or appropriate department
* Assist in maintaining supplies inventory and ensuring individuals are safe to enter the department
