Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Location:** Toledo, OH **Shift:** Nights **Job Type:** Full-time **About the Role:** We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide direct patient care to women and newborns in Labor and Delivery, including assessments, interventions, and education • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Administer medications, including oxytocin and pain management options, as prescribed by physicians • Perform routine deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, under the supervision of physicians • Provide postpartum care, including wound assessment and care, and management of postpartum hemorrhage • Monitor fetal heart rates and provide external fetal monitoring as needed • Participate in code blue situations and rapid response teams as required • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of patient care and outcomes **Requirements:** • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Basic life support certification **What We Offer:** • Competitive salary and benefits package • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Collaborative and supportive work environment • Free parking on site
