**Job Title: LVN / LPN - Medical Surgical** **Location:** Richmond, VA 23225 **Schedule:** Days **Job Type:** Travel, Full-time **Unit Information:** * Number of Beds: 34 (max capacity of 43 pts) * Number of Staff: 1 charge, 8 RNs, 3 techs, 1 unit secretary (if at max capacity) * Patient Ratios: 5:1 * Type of equipment: Remote tele EMR - Meditech **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide nursing care to patients on a general medical surgical floor, including stroke and neuro designated unit * Perform various medical procedures and treatments as needed * Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans * Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the charge nurse * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records **Requirements:** * Current LVN/LPN license * 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing * NIH Stroke certification * ACLS certification * BLS certification preferred * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay rate * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and supportive work environment **If you are a compassionate and skilled LVN/LPN looking for a new challenge, apply today!**
