Registered Nurse Emergency Room

**Registered Nurse - Emergency Room** **Location:** Bloomington, IN **Schedule:** 3x12s Nights (no locals accepted) **Shift Types:** * 8 hour shifts * 10 hour shifts * 36 hours in one workweek (3x12 hour shifts) * 40 hours in one workweek (8 hour shifts) * 48 hours in one workweek (4x12 hour shifts) **Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care in an emergency room setting * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians * Monitor and report patient vital signs and medical conditions to healthcare providers **Requirements:** * At least 1 year of travel experience required * Current licensure in the state of IN * Current certification in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC * Ability to work 2/3 major holidays * Willingness to float to nearby sister facilities as needed (rarely) **Note:** Effective November 30, 2024, IU Health will no longer allow IN RNs to work at their facilities, except for Periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers, who are exempt from this rule.
