Therapist Physical Therapist

**Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab** **Location:** Decatur, IL **Schedule:** Days, 5x8, 0900-1730 **Job Type:** Full-time **Required Qualifications:** * Minimum 1 year of experience required * First-timers accepted * Will work every third weekend * BLS and state license required * Active IL license in hand to apply * Cerner experience preferred * Teaching hospital experience preferred * Level II trauma experience preferred **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting * Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide evidence-based care * Work with patients to achieve goals and improve function and mobility * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care * Utilize various modalities, including adaptive devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, and pain management techniques * Document patient progress and outcomes in electronic medical record **Required Skills and Experience:** * Cardiopulmonary, Geriatrics, Neurology, and Orthopedics expertise * Experience with acute care and rehabilitation hospital settings * Assessment skills in adaptive devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, arousal and attention, and pain management * Cardiopulmonary skills in breathing techniques, COPD, CHF, MI, and PVD * Documentation skills in assessment, discharge, evaluation, long-term goals, and short-term goals * Experience with various equipment and devices, including bed alarms, call lights, crutches, and sliding boards **Special Requirements:** * Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD to meet fingerprinting requirements * Willingness to work block schedule with every third weekend required * Ability to float to various units as needed * Ability to accommodate block schedule
