As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work with patients and their families to provide high-quality respiratory care services, using scientific values, therapies, and techniques to improve patient outcomes. **Essential Functions:** * Performs and directs respiratory care services like oxygen and aerosol therapy * Works with the attending physician and care team to provide patient-centered care * Administers care with quality and excellence, following established policies and procedures * Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergencies * Adheres to established policies, including infection control, isolation, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media * Maintains a positive and professional work environment, promoting collaboration and respect among peers and patients **Key Success Factors:** * General knowledge of Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills * General computer skills, including data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand-held scanning, and email **Qualifications:** * Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification * Less than 1 year of experience * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer * Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure by the State of Texas Medical Board * Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board Respiratory Care
