**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Telemetry **Location:** Asheville, NC **Schedule:** Nights **Job Type:** Travel **Duration:** 13 weeks **Projected Start Date:** September 15, 2025 **Worksite:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 **Unit Information:** * K9-B Observation Unit * 20 beds * 28 staff members * Day Shift: 1 charge, 4 RN's, 2 PCT's, 1 HUC * Night Shift: 1 charge, 3 RN's, 2 PCT's, 1 HUC * Patient Ratios: Day Shift - 1:5 (Stretch 1:6), Night Shift - 1:6 (Stretch 1:7) * Equipment: Telemetry, Baxter pumps * EMR: Cerner/Power Chart **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment * Conduct telemetry monitoring and perform IV starts * Insert Foley catheters and perform other medical-surgical procedures * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records **Required Qualifications:** * BLS certification * Telemetry certification preferred * Med-surge certification preferred * Ability to work in a variety of patient populations and acuity levels **Personality Fit:** * Outgoing and enjoys a fast-paced environment * Team player with excellent communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Certifications:** * Telemetry Floating Area(s) * Other med-surg levels of care **Dress Code:** * All navy, all white, or white top with navy bottoms **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** * Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines * Attendance policy will be included in hire-on process * Weekends and on-call shifts as assigned **Experience:** * 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse Note: This job description has been formatted to highlight the key aspects of the role, including job title, location, schedule, job type, required qualifications, and key responsibilities.
