Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
Schedule: Days (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
Job Type: Travel, Part-time
Required Qualifications:
• Associate degree in nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Alabama or Compact license
• Current certifications:
• AHA ACLS
• AHA BLS
• AHA PALS
• NIH certifications (TNCC, SECURE)
• 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, with 1 year of experience in a specialty role
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Manage patient flow, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
