Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

**Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse** **Location:** Georgetown, TX **Schedule:** Nights **Job Type:** Contract We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team for a 13-week contract assignment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment * Conduct cervical ripening, induction of labor, and other procedures as needed * Administer medications such as MgSO4 and Insulin drip * Provide Level II maternal care and newborn care in the Special Care Nursery * Participate in high-risk deliveries and transfer patients to the NICU as needed * Collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure seamless patient care * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records * Adhere to hospital policies and procedures **Requirements:** * Current RN licensure in the state of Texas * Labor and Delivery experience within the last year * NRP, ACLS, and BLS certification * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as GE Centricity/CPN and Meditech **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay rate * Opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team * State-of-the-art equipment and technology * Flexible scheduling options * Professional development opportunities If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
