**Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse** **Location:** Knoxville, TN **Shift:** Nights **Job Type:** Contract **About the Role:** We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Labor and Delivery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide direct patient care to women and newborns in Labor and Delivery, including monitoring fetal heart rates, administering medications, and performing deliveries • Collaborate with obstetricians, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient • Educate patients and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency **Requirements:** • 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee • AWHONN fetal monitoring intermediate course certification • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and occasional on-call shifts **What We Offer:** • Competitive contract rate • Opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team • Professional development and growth opportunities • Comprehensive benefits package If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge, please apply today!
