Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Location: Tuscaloosa, AL Schedule: Days (36 hours/week) Job Type: Travel * Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals * Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week Key Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting * Work collaboratively with a highly trained team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff * Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care * Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions Required Qualifications: * Associate degree in nursing * Current certification in: + AHA ACLS + AHA BLS + AHA PALS + NIH OR RED CROSS (or equivalent) * TNCC certification * Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted) * 2 years of experience (or 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license and 1 year of experience in the field of specialty) We offer competitive pay and benefits to our travel nurses.
