**Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown** **Location:** Clarkston, WA **Shift:** Nights **Job Type:** Full-time **About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. As a Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide patient education and support to patients and their significant others, utilizing appropriate education modalities • Ensure patient safety through preventative measures, including proper use of equipment and following restraint policies • Demonstrate knowledge of safe operation of all equipment in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas • Troubleshoot equipment issues and follow procedures for repair, with access to equipment manuals as needed • Implement infection control and isolation procedures, using proper procedures and documentation • Utilize standard precautions at all times • Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses • Complete charge documentation accurately and ensure timeliness of physician orders • Perform 24-hour checks of orders, as assigned • Give complete and accurate change of shift reports to oncoming employees • Communicate effectively with other departments • Report critical lab values to physicians in a timely manner, according to policy • Maintain and restock emergency carts, room, and general supplies **Requirements:** • Active WA license • Experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown areas • Ability to flex and work in various departments as needed • Strong knowledge of safe operation of equipment and troubleshooting techniques • Excellent communication and documentation skills **We Offer:** • Competitive compensation package • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Collaborative and supportive work environment If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge, please apply today!
