Occupational Therapy Assistant - Therapist Location: Norfolk, VA We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant - Therapist to join our team. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in various settings, including rehabilitation centers and clinics • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to help patients achieve their goals • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in occupational therapy **Requirements:** • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies • Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care **Schedule:** • Full-time position, Monday through Friday (35 hours per week) • Occasional weekend work may be required • Must be available to work as needed to ensure adequate staffing Note: The successful candidate will not be considered for positions in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
