Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Woodstock, VA Schedule: • 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday • Occasional weekend shifts as needed Job Type: • Full-time, inpatient position Required Qualifications: • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or equivalent • Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or eligibility to obtain certification • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment Key Responsibilities: • Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, treatments, and interventions • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals • Conduct range of motion assessments, modalities, and other diagnostic tests • Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation training • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
