Registered Nurse NICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU Location: Seattle, WA Schedule: Days We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Level III or IV NICU setting. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, caring for patients from 23-24 weeks gestation. Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to neonates in a Level III or IV NICU setting • Administer medications, including blood and blood products, as well as cardioversion and defibrillation • Utilize various equipment, including CPAP/BiPap, High Frequency Vents, Oscillators, and Vents • Perform procedures such as feeding tube insertion and PICC/Central Line placement • Collaborate with the Admit Nurse to ensure seamless patient transitions • Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries • Float to different campuses, including Swedish Issaquah and Edmonds SCN, or Pediatrics/NBN (care for newborns only) Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience in a NICU setting • Current compact license (active) • Ability to work a block schedule, including the option to work 3 or more shifts in a row Note: Travelers are not typically admitted to the NICU, but may float to Pediatrics as needed.
