Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Location:** Berlin, VT **Schedule:** Nights **Job Type:** Travel Nursing **Required Qualifications:** • Prior travel experience • BLS, NRP required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE preferred • 1 year of L&D experience to submit, as well as LDRP experience • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable • Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, initiating/being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes • Perform various medical procedures, such as IV starts, lab draws, and EKGs • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Epic system • Participate in code blue and other emergency situations as needed **Unit Information:** • Women and Children’s Unit • 7 inpatient beds, 3 triage rooms, approximately 300 deliveries/year • Float required, every other weekend, and call (2 – 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4 week timeframe) **Facility Information:** • Central Vermont Medical Center • 88 inpatient beds • No block schedules for any reason • Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April **Certifications and Requirements:** • BLS, NRP • ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE preferred • 1 year of L&D experience to submit, as well as LDRP experience • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
