Registered Nurse OB/GYN

Here is the formatted job description: **Registered Nurse - OB/GYN** **Location:** Worthington, MN **Shift:** Rotating **Job Type:** Full-time **Required Qualifications:** • Minimum 2 years of experience in interpretation of fetal monitor strips, attendance at vaginal delivery, immediate care, and resuscitation of newborn • Current licensure and certification in: • Fetal monitoring (ARRT) • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS) • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) • Other relevant certifications as required **Key Responsibilities:** • Care of OB triage, labor & delivery, postpartum, well-newborn, and special care nursery patients • Administration of IVs, antibiotics, and short-term respiratory support (CPAP or O2) • Utilization of EPIC computer charting and OBIX with central monitoring for fetal monitor strips • Use of Acudose med dispensing cabinet • Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care **Schedule:** • 8 or 12 hour weekday shifts • Weekends required, 2 out of 3 weekends • Weekend shifts are Fri/Sat/Sun, 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a • Floating to over units/departments as needed **Work Environment:** • 12 bed unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:2-3 mom/baby couplets • 1:2 early labor, 1:1 active labor, 1:3 post-op • Primarily works in the Women’s Center department, with float to General Medical unit as needed **What We Offer:** • Comprehensive training and orientation program, including new hire safety program and competency skills for equipment • One Chart training • Hospital-washed scrubs provided • Competitive compensation package If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, please apply!
