Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Location: Nashville, TN Schedule: Full-time, Days Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including attending to the needs of mothers and newborns. • Demonstrate expertise in obstetric nursing, including labor support, delivery, and postpartum care. • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions between Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units. • Develop strong relationships with patients and families, providing empathetic and individualized care. Required Qualifications: • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of TN. • Certification in BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NIH, AWHONN, and NRP. • At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing. Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with diverse populations, including the prison population. • Familiarity with float assignments and ability to adapt to changing priorities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
