Tech Cath Lab/EP

Job Title: Tech - Cath Lab/EP Location: Springfield, IL Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 3x12 Days (0630-1900) Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including cardiac implant closure devices, stent placements, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) • Set up and operate various equipment, including cath lab equipment and monitors • Interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias • Provide scrub procedures and assist in left and right heart catheterizations • Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols Required Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year experience in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiac cath lab • ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and RCIS certifications required • Active license to practice in the state of Illinois required • Cerner experience required Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with Rotablator athrectomy and scrub procedures • Familiarity with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) Why Join Us: • Join a Magnet hospital/facility with a Level I trauma center • Work in a dynamic and supportive environment with opportunities for growth and professional development
