Therapist Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Title: Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant Location: Dennis, NJ Schedule / Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, and interventions. • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. • Assist patients in developing skills and strategies to achieve independence and participation in daily activities. • Conduct home visits and other community-based assessments to identify needs and develop treatment plans. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Required Qualifications: • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies from an accredited program. • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of New Jersey. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations. • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology. • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other software applications.
