Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVICU Location: Plano, TX Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days Key Responsibilities: • Oversee patient care using a professional practice model, including patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. • Secure patient travel and ensure patient needs are met in a fast-paced cardiovascular universal bed model unit. • Recognize health issues, create care plans, and implement interventions to prevent complications. • Delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies, adhering to the Texas Nursing Practice Act. Required Qualifications: • Specialized field of study in nursing • 2 years or more of recent RN experience, with ICU experience highly preferred and CV experience a plus • Current RN license • BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting the role Preferred Experience / Skills: • Knowledge of common cardiovascular ICU procedures, hemodynamics, and medications • Experience with cardiovascular surgeries, LUMBAR procedures, CRRT, balloon pump, and Impella Why Join Us: • We believe in creating a welcoming, valued, and supported workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
