Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care to patients with advanced heart failure, Left Ventricle Assist devices, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Cardiac surgical patients (CABG, Valves and PCI) in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborate with the leadership team to support learning, mentoring, and building every team member. • Work in a department with 34 beds, offering a supportive management team and a culture conducive for learning. • Participate in a team that has performed over 1,000 heart transplants in 36 years.
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program • License/Certification: RN – Registered Nurse • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) • Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and treatments • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
