Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to facility policies and procedures • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Required Qualifications:
• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of New Mexico • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to document patient information accurately • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
