Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Location: Issaquah, WA Schedule / Job Type: Nights Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit • Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care • Administer medications, including pain management and labor support medications • Participate in deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and GYN surgeries as needed • Utilize specialized equipment, such as fetal monitors and epidural pumps • Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Required Qualifications: • Current RN licensure in the state of WA • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery or related specialty • Strong knowledge of labor and delivery protocols, medications, and procedures • Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with fetal monitoring and labor support techniques • Knowledge of pain management options and protocols • Experience with specialized equipment, such as PCA pumps and wound vacs • BLS certification and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
