Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Edmonds, WA
Schedule: Nights
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, including Labor and Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn care. • Perform various special procedures, such as vaginal delivery, cesarean delivery, and circulate in the operating room. • Administer medications and supplies, including blood and blood products, insulin, and magnesium sulfate. • Manage special equipment, including circulate C/S, high-risk antepartum, high-risk L&D, LDRP, low-risk antepartum/LD, OB-GYN, and post-op/pre-op care. • Provide newborn care and special procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, LDRP, L&D, PP, and Newborn care. • Current compact license. • Certification in AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, and NRP. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with Float assignments as needed. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
