Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Location Edmonds, WA Schedule / Job Type Nights Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to patients in Labor and Delivery, including managing pain, monitoring fetal heart rates, and supporting women during labor and delivery. • Conduct routine assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes. • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Administer medications, including pain management and labor induction agents, as ordered by physicians. • Perform routine laboratory tests, take vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records. • Participate in code blue and emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and quick decision-making skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Washington • 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, LDRP, L&D, PP, and Newborn care • AWHONN Intermediate certification and BCLS & NRP certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to float as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with fetal monitoring and labor support techniques • Knowledge of pain management options and labor induction agents • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
